Sound of the Maroons
The sound of the drum passing through this dark green jungle
carrying stories of our ancestors whose footsteps have printed this jungle floor
The sound ripples the dark water of the river
Shall we dance for our ancestors who are protecting the jungle?
I can hear the stories of how they used to play
Stories of those who passed away, ran away
and those who have fought the great war
visions of the visitors in dark robes with white collars
Shall we dance
For those who are protecting these footsteps
for us to see how they used to dance on this jungle floor
Shall we dance for those who can beat the drum
sending these stories through the jungle
Sound of the Maroons

We are one
The rivers are the veins of the earth
The plants and trees are the lungs
the wind the constant breathing
the sand mountain,mud, the body
all kept alive by a creative energy force.....
Can you find any difference between us and the earth?

Deja vu

Early morning sun shines on my face
leafs from trees of good feelings are falling
It will be a very great day
I feel happy in every way
Blue blue sky call the butterflies
Feel Like  deja vu
That's why I want to see you

Anytime the wind blows
and I hear sounds of the waterfall ,
and smells  the sense of the flowers that
make seconds turn into hours
It feels like deja vu
that's why I want to see you.
